Melinda Fisher is a partner at Shine Lawyers and a member of the firm’s People and Culture team. Melinda is the lead facilitator of learning at Shine and enjoys bringing people together to explore new ideas and to learn something new.
Melinda started her career as a consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Melinda completed her graduate traineeship in the United States and upon her return worked in a consultancy role in Sydney, designing and coding IT programs.
In 1997, Melinda began work at Shine Lawyers as a trainee lawyer. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Queensland Supreme Court in 2000 and has worked in a variety of roles since this time, including Legal Manager and Knowledge Manager. Melinda completed the Queensland Law Society Practice Management Course and was appointed Partner in 2006.
During her career at Shine Lawyers, Melinda has pursued justice for hundreds of deserving clients and fought with tenancity to ensure that her clients were successful in their claims. As part of the People and Culture team, Melinda now has the opportunity to pass on her experience and knowledge to new lawyers, as well as ensuring that Shine’s culture and values are upheld and celebrated across the organisation.
Melinda calls the Gold Coast home and enjoys spending time in the sun and surf with her husband, Ben and three young children. |
